HARMAN Lifestyle is hiring a Data & Analytics Intern for its Digital Engineering group in Bangalore. Working with iconic global audio brands like JBL and Mark Levinson, this individual contributor role gives you hands-on exposure to enterprise-scale data engineering. You will report directly to the Digital Engineering Manager, supporting the team by writing clean database scripts, mapping information streams, and designing automation utilities. The scope blends foundational software programming with analytical modeling—requiring you to profile incoming data lakes for quality control, design visual dashboards, and eliminate manual processes to accelerate data-driven business decisions.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical quantitative field.
• A strong baseline in Python scripting and a solid understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithmic efficiency models.
• Practical command over SQL syntax, building relational queries, and mapping data attributes across primary relational databases.
• Ability to parse multi-source datasets to run systematic data validations, clean records, and establish basic data profiling checks.
• Capable of designing basic scripting routines to automate repetitive text processing, extract records, or optimize data pipelines.
• Foundational familiarity building interactive analytics charts or reports utilizing Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic exposure to team version control protocols using Git.
• General exposure to public cloud fabrics (such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) alongside baseline concepts of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or statistical modeling.
• Complete availability to execute a continuous 6 to 9-month internship track.
• Sharp logical problem-solving habits, attention to detail, strong ownership metrics, and the flexibility to coordinate with global teams across shifting time zones.
